Tile Selection - Wendy from Mt Martha

Question

With the large range of tiles on the market, how do I know which ones are good quality and will suit my bathroom?

Answer

The varied prices of tiles mainly give a good guide to quality, you know the old saying "you get what you pay for..."

The main point to remember is to use the right tile in the right area. For example it is always a good idea to pay for the better quality floor tiles, especially for the heavy traffic areas, to give better assurance that they will stand up to the hard work through the years ahead. Be sure to get good advice from an expert as they can often provide a design service to help you achieve the look you are after. Get a reference of the style through magazines, Internet etc. it will make their job much easier & quicker.

Most tile retailers provide a design service from a qualified designer, make full use of their experience.
