Hydronic Heating - Carley from Balnarring

Question

We are in the process of building a new home and would like it to be as environmentally friendly and efficient as possible. We have heard about Hydronic Heating but do not know anything about it, could you tell us the basics?

Answer

Carley Hydronic Heating is heating which uses hot water to provide warmth. If it is used properly it can be an economical & highly effective form of heating. In most systems, water is heated in a boiler, and then pumped through piping to panel radiators which are positioned in each room. In-slab systems are also available, in these heated water is pumped through piping which is layed in the slab floor during the construction stage. Heating is released into the slab and subsequently into the room.
