Blinds with Minds - June from Mt. Martha

Question

We have some ferocious winds come off the bay where we live and have lost an outdoor umbrella and a couple of sheets of pergola skylight over the years. I have been told there is a shade system that will automatically close in high winds. Can you help?

Answer

There is a sensor on the market that reads wind speed and can activate a blind motor at a set speed. You can then have piece of mind that if you have left your awning out and a storm rolls in whilst your are out you will find your blind or awning rolled or folded up safe & sound on your return and not next door in you neighbours backyard!
