Latitude 37 Sweeps the HIA 2011 Awards
Latitude 37 was awarded both the winner and runner up in the category of Custom-Build Homes up to $350,000. The award was presented at the recent 2011 HIA Victorian Housing Awards at the Crown Towers before an 800 strong crowd of industry peers.
Remarkable Latitude 37's three entries in this prestigious category were the only finalists, clearly demonstrating their position as the leading design and construct group in Victoria.
This award compliments several earlier HIA and MBA awards including winner and runner up in the category of Custom-Build Home $350,000-$500,000 at the 2010 HIA Awards.
Judged by industry professionals, the winning home is awarded according to the quality of the workmanship, design effectiveness, visual appeal, innovation, environmental sustainability and market relevance.
Chris Sfiligoj, Latitude 37's Design Manager, describes the challenges of the winning home Sandhurst: "The brief was to maximise the use of the irregular shaped block and views to the North and South capturing the golf course aspect. This compact family home (26 square) incorporates abundant accommodation on a challenging lot whilst maintaining a spacious and functional yard area. It certainly put our design flair to the test!"
