Selecting a Shower Screen

In a hectic world, a bathroom is an oasis, a quiet place to relax and indulge yourself.

More than merely functional, a bathroom should be beautiful, a place to pamper yourself, to shut the door and let the world drift away for a few precious moments every day. The shower is the centrepiece of any beautiful bathroom. Some people like the shower to blend into the bathroom, while others like it to be a feature.

It's also a must to consider the design and layout of your bathroom before you plunge into the challenging task of selecting the right products.

Three of the most popular styles are -HIDC Framed Screen

Framed Screen

A framed screen have a range of standard colours, or a customised colour of your choice to enhance your screen as a feature in your bathroom decor. The framed screen have rounded, smooth corners & uses contoured profiles to eliminate dirt & soap traps. With your choice of either a single, two or three panel sliding door, pivoting door or an innovative corner shower screen using sliding doors on two adjacent sides is ideal for bathrooms where space can be a problem.  The framed screens are functional as much as they are reliable. HIDC Semi-Framed Screen

Semi-Frame less Screen

Elegant yet safe the semi-frameless screen eliminates any need for an aluminium frame. with it's stylish, strong pivot doors & die cast metal pivot blocks, feature an anti-slip device & a self centring mechanism. A slimline aluminium frame is designed not to trap or pool any dirt or soap residue. The semi-frameless screen is a low maintenance frame with no hidden corners, no mould & no more getting your fingers caught while cleaning. To minimise the need for a large aluminium frame will allow for more flexibility of your shower screen.

For a timeless look of luxury & Style the frameless shower screen gives your bathroom exquisite design, without compromising quality for elegance & simplicity. Along with finely crafted hinges & hardware, the stunning frameless screen offers you choice that will enhance your screen design. Unlimited design choice with both standard & custom styles. Depending on your design & operating requirements the frameless screen can be fixed into place with either a clip or channel fixing.

Now is the time to make sure your bathroom is working for you. Think about who uses the bathroom and how you can maximise the use of available space with better layout, recessed storage or smaller fittings.

While it may be easier and more economical to leave the shower where it is in an existing home, make sure you're not saving a few dollars now and sacrificing the opportunity to create a more functional, comfortable and beautiful bathroom.

This could be a great opportunity to think ahead and design a better layout. You use your bathroom everyday and it should be a room that makes you feel good - year in, year out.
