Designer Splashbacks
Splashbacks can be used anywhere in your home where a tile is required. They're stylish, low maintenance and not only for decorative purposes but functional. With their clean cut, contemporary appeal and the options of simple colour to photographic splashbacks, theyre undeniably the smartest choice for your home.
What are the benefits and features of a glass splashback?
Splashbacks are a much easier, contemporary option when it comes to your home, as opposed to tiles, where the grout will pick up all your dirt and mould making it hard to maintain. Glass being the seamless element it is, makes all the cleaning duties a simple spray and wipe rather than scrubbing between the lines.
What are the different types of glass splashbacks?
They come in a range of different glass which can all be cut to size. If its only just a simple one colour you're after, splashbacks come in all colours and shades. There is also textured glass which gives the glass a slumped smooth look or a rippled affect. Photographic splashbacks are becoming increasingly popular from scenary pictures of the beach to your favourite family portrait.
How else can splashbacks be used?
With the limitless choices of colour, texture and the photography used, splashbacks can also be used purely just for decorative purposes. For example, using an image of the crystal clear water and white clean sand on a bright sunny day gives the inviting illusion of looking out the kitchen window to your own view of the ocean.
Another example for a photogrpahic splashback, try close up images of your favourite flower or abstract like painting with its flowing earthy tones or light crisp colours for a feature wall behind the bathtub or even a privacy screen. This is perfect to create the ultimate calming, soothing atmosphere.
They're not only perfect for givng that illusion of looking out the window onto the city full of lit up skyscrapers and busy streets. For small, narrow apartments or rooms, a splashback feature wall of the green, rugged, frost tipped mountains on a bright sunny day really highlights room and gives the appearance of a larger room.
