Carpet Stain Removal

Done the right way, cleaning can remove the stain completely or at least make it less noticeable. Now you don't have to cover up that red wine stain with a rug or a piece of furniture. Here is a simple guide on the different stainsto remove them all.

Carpet Stain

Stain Removal Method 1 and how

Water > blot > detergent > blot detergent > blot water > blot.

This method can be used on stains such as, Chocolate, Fruit Juices, Hobby Glue, Mixed Drinks, Liqueurs, pet food, soft drinks, tomato sauce, toothpaste and red and white wine.

Stain Removal Method 2

Detergent > blot > ammonia > blot > detergent > blot > water > blot.

This method can be used with stains such as Beer, Blood (please note for blood, the ingredients must be cold), Cheese, Dirt, Egg, Excrement, Food Grease, Ice Cream, Lollies, Mayonnaise, Milk, Mud, Starch, Vomit and; Red or white wine.

Stain Removal Method 3

Dry cleaning solvent > detergent > blot > water > blot.

This Method can be used on stains such as, Cooking Oil, Butter, Crayon, Furniture Polish, Car Grease, Hair Oil, Hair Spray, Hand Lotion, Lard, Linseed Oil, Lipstick, Machine Oil, Mascara, Latex Paint, Paste Shoe Polish, Texta, Tea, Varnish, Vaseline and; Paste Wax.

Handy Tips

1 - Regular vacuuming will remove dirt and therefore extend the life of your carpet

2 - Reduce the build up of dirt and grime by relocating your furniture regularly, to allow for the even distribution of wear in heavy traffic areas such as living, family and lounge areas.

3 - Always try to clean the spills immediately.

4 - Use door mats at entrances to prevent dirt from being brought inside the home.
