A Solomit acoustic ceiling
not only dramatically reduces noise levels through sound absorption, but adds a natural softness to a room or public area. Some of the benefits of Solomit ceilings are:
1. Reduced noise through the effective sound absorption and sound transmission loss capabilities of the straw panels. Full sound absorption, attenuation and sound transmission reports are available.
2. Provides thermal insulation through thermal resistance approximately equivalent to 35mm fibreglass insulation. This can be further enhanced with the addition of other insulation including double sided roofing foil .
3. Is light weight which makes construction and the installation of the ceiling panels easy.
4. Is fire resistant in compliance with current building regulations for some public buildings. Solomit has an Australian Department of Health "B" Grade Fire Rating and is accepted as a fire resistant lining material for all public buildings. Fire test reports are available.
Solomit brush fencing
will last from 20 to 30 years and when installed correctly the panels will not rot or crack and are impervious to White Ants. Solomit Brush panels are machine compressed and stitched with galvanised wire, which provides a solid durable panel that absorbs unwanted traffic noise.
This makes Solomit brush fencing an attractive and cheaper alternative to brick fencing. Our manufacturing method produces a greater panel density and is far cheaper than the hand packed brush fence.
Solomit brush fence panels have many applications. IMPROVE your gardens appearance, use the panels as a windbreak around your pool, bar-b-que or tennis court or hide that unsightly garden shed, incinerator or pool filter.
Solomit Strawboard ceilings and brush panels provide a natural alternative to more traditional fencing, ceiling and screening procedures and do so with some distinct advantages. Call us on 9793 3088 if you have any queries as we can help from purchase through to installation.
