MagicSeal Magnetic Insulating Panels

MagicSeal magnetic window insulating panels can greatly improve the acoustic and thermal performance of your windows.

Why install screens on the inside of the window?

MagicSeal magnetic screens are a new and innovative insect screening system.

Outward opening windows, such as the hopper window, must be screened on the inside. Trouble is, how do you get through the screen to open the window? Previous solutions have been to hinge or slide the screen, or incorporate small hinged opening flaps within it. These arrangements are usually awkward and unsightly and leave gaps which still allow insects in especially when the light is on at night.

MagicSeal screens are flexible and are held onto the window frame magnetically. The window frame material is unimportant, the system can be installed on timber, aluminium, steel or pvc windows.

A narrow magnetic strip runs continuously around the window frame. The screen has a flexible magnetic border which snaps firmly onto this strip, holding it tightly in place. Small tab cords at each bottom corner allow the screen to be easily raised. When released, it snaps automatically back onto its magnetic seal.

This positive magnetic seal means no gaps and therefore no spiders! The narrow screen border (approx 13mm wide x 5mm thick) is colour keyed to the window frame and is very unobtrusive.

Some benefits of Magic Seal

  • No gaps - perfect magnetic seal all round keeps out spiders!
  • Instantly removable - fully washable - makes window cleaning easy!
  • Unobtrusive - ideal for leadlight and feature windows.
  • Will not rust or corrode - ideal for sea-side homes.
  • Almost any colour or shape possible.
  • Magic Seal screens simply peel back to open or close the window and snap automatically back into place when released!
