HIA Trade Night @ HIDC

Toolbox Seminars are an essential part of HIA communicating with all building industry members about new legislation and opportunities.

They are held in order to keep members and those in the industry up to date in the following factors -

• Paul Ferguson HIA Director of Workplace Services will talk about new regulations which are coming into effect that I should be aware of (eg changes to the Building Act).
• Kevin McKeown HIA Safety Adviser will speak on new OH&S regulations, safe work methods statements and the paper work you need on site.
• What are construction trends showing for our industry, both locally and on a state level.

HIA experts will provide updates on local and state wide economic trends in the housing industry; provide updates on new regulations (eg OH&S). There will be an opportunity to speak to the presenters and seek advice.

You dont need to be an HIA Victoria member so come along and be informed about whats going on in your industry.
