An ever increasing number of workplaces are implementing routine in-service testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment. This course will enable successful participants to inspect and test portable electrical equipment, including appliances, cords, plugs and sockets, in accordance with Australian Standard AS3760.
The course is aimed at domestic builders and contractors. The person in charge of the site remains responsible for ensuring the individual carrying out this testing is competent. There is no licence requirement involved, but all course participants should have completed industry basic induction OHS training.
